Nothing like a bit of vintage Soviet surplus to carry your rifle ammunition, or your liquid ammunition aka beer (yes, it fits). As with most military load carrying equipment from the '50's, these AK-47 mag pouches are ruggedly built from leather and canvas. The USSR may have stopped issuing these in the 1980's but they can still be found dispersed around middle eastern countries.
The 3-cell pouch design will hold standard 30 round AK-47 or AK-74 magazines. An additional small pocket on the side is used to hold cleaning tools. The top fastens silently with a brass rivet and leather tab. Two 6cm belt loops on the rear allow the pouch to be attached to straps or load carrying gear. Get some Soviet Russian gear in your collection or put a vintage twist on your battle dress.
